Latarnia morska położona jest we wschodniej części Darłówka, tuż przy ujściu rzeki Wieprzy, zaraz przy wejściu do portu w Darłówku.
Wieża latarni wysoka jest na 22 metry, na jej szczycie znajduje się nowoczesny mechanizm, który pokazuje drogę statkom. Latarnia powstała w XIX wieku wraz z budynkiem stacji pilotów. Wieża była wtedy dużo niższa i dopiero kolejne remonty uczyniły z niej pełnoprawną latarnię. Obecnie turyści mogą podziwiać stan z 1927 roku, kiedy to miał miejsce ostatni remont budynku.
